Legal Bubble


BubblePoker.net and The London Poker League is a 100% legal poker league, offering members and club patrons a chance to play in a rewarding and social competition.

In order to offer poker in a pub or similar venue, there are strict guidelines which must be abide to and comply with.
Bubble Poker tournaments are offered to its members within the low stakes law.
By following this structure, Bubble Poker and The London Poker League play for money venues remain 100% within the gambling laws.

1) The maximum amount of money entered into a tournament (buy in) per player must not exceed 10 pounds.
Club venues - 10 pounds : Pub venues - 5 pounds
Please note that this is the maximum, and any value lower than this amount can be used.

2) Donations are given as 'donations' to the tournament director on the evening for running a great tournament and supplying you with tables, cards and chips. This is the plus two pounds system on our tournaments in which are in place in most of our tournaments across the UK.

3) The maximum prize pool per day* cannot exceed 250 pounds for club, 100 pounds for pub.

4) Even though the buy in is low stakes players still gain points for The London Poker League for coming in the top 8 and making the final table in each tournament.

*a day is defined as the period of time between noon of one day and noon of the next.
