What is BubblePoker.net & The London Poker League?
The London Poker League & BubblePoker.net is a poker league who organize social events each week, created by poker players for poker players. We provide the highest level in tournament poker in the relaxed atmosphere of a pub or bar, in leading venues all over London. We aim to provide a fantastic night's entertainment, one of the best places to make new friends and play some friendly cards.

What game does Bubble Poker events play?
No Limit Texas Hold 'Em

What do I need to bring?
Just bring yourself and some form of indentification. A world of poker entertainment awaits you.

How do I join?
You can register direct at one of our venues. When you arrive at the venue, one of our friendly tournament directors will sort you out with a membership card once application has been filled in and answer any other questions you may have.

How does the league work?
At each tournament, points are awarded based on getting to the final table. Season 5 will start on Saturday 5th July 2008, all of our seasons go on for 3 months.

How professional do I need to be?
We cater for all levels of poker expertise. So whether you are a complete novice, have played socially with friends or are or think your are a professional, a great social experience and superb entertainment awaits you at every venue.

Double Bubble For Bank Holiday Monday
This coming bank holiday Monday evening will spark an amazing night down at The Urban Bar in Whitechapel for our second magical Double Bubble of the season.
This means that you will gain Double Points for the league if you manage to get onto the final table for this evening.
Whats more we are going to give you 1000 extra chips for this special night, so your starting stack will be 3000 down at The Urban Bar, this tournament will be starting at 8PM just as normal with side games available when enough players are out of the main event.
If you know that you are going to be late for the event then you must text Viet Leiu on 07888664756, if you turn up to the venue late and there are no seats then we are afraid that you will not be placed into the tournament.
Tthe Old Explorer is not on for this evening so the only tournament for this Bubble Poker calender is this one.
If you are interested in having some fantastic social drinks then please feel free to come down early, we will be there from 6PM for drinks and lots of it, its bank holiday and Double Bubble so let celebrate in style by getting those drinks down our neck for a fun filled bubble night of poker.
The Bubble Bounty is on this night aswell so if you knock Bubble out we will give you 10 pounds.

The Old Explorer Not On Monday
Due to tournament director Nick Hughes being away and also it being Bank Holiday Monday, The Old Explorer will not be on thihs coming Monday evening on 25th August 2008.
But if you are after a game don't forget it is double bubble night down at The Urban Bar in Whitechapel :0)

Player Of The Month - Greig Gilmore
The award for this months Player Of The Month goes to Greig Gilmore who has had a fantastic months of poker on and off the tables.
He has shot himself to 41 points on the leader board and almost leaving others well behind, from the start you could tell the hunger that this young boy from Scotland would have to go forth and try and win this Seasons Bubble Poker League in full, he does not really care about getting into the final 16 for the Champions League. . .
This boy has been like William Wallace on the poker tables, could this be his quote to making sure he will win the league this time?

Greig 'Tom Tom' Gilmore is now looking to extend the lead of the league over the next few months, with study and personal life still maintaining number one for 'Tom Tom' we hope to see him down at our events in the next few months.
Well done to Greig and indeed to everyone that has played in anyone of our tournaments or events in the past month. . .

London Poker League Set Up
The Bubble Poker & London Poker League will start on Saturday 5th July 2008 and will run for 3 months.
The league will finish on Saturday 4th October 2008.
Winner will be crowned London Poker League champion plus many BIG prizes
Top 10 of the league will recieve prizes
Top 16 of the league will qualify for the Bubble Poker Champions League Tournament (BPCLT) which will be helf on 11th October 2008 at a secret location in London.
